A DESCRIPTION OF OUR FACILITY AND THE REGULATED SUBSTANCE HANDLED.
This facility is an agricultural fertilizer and chemical retail outlet.  We handle anhydrous ammonia, dry and liquid fertilizer, and chemicals for corn and soybean crops.  For ammonia we have two - 30,000 gallon tanks for storing ammonia used for agricultural fertilizer.

THE WORSE CASE RELEASE SCENARIO.
Our worse case scenario would be a failure with our storage,
as a gas release.  According to EPA 'look-up' tables, the endpoint distance would be 5.6 miles, including approximately 1670 people.

THE GENERAL ACCIDENTAL RELEASE PREVENTION PROGRAM AND CHEMICAL-SPECIFIC PREVENTION STEPS.
This facility complies with EPA's accident prevention rules and all applicable state and local codes and regulations.

FIVE- YEAR ACCIDENT HISTORY
We have never had an accident involving ammonia that caused death, injuries, property or environmental damage or evacuations.

THE EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROGRAM.
If an emergency arises with our anhydrous ammonia plant, it our policy to call the Hamburg Fire Dept. and our LEPC to respond.  We have scheduled an update 'walk through' inspection with the fire department in July 1999.  Several of our customers are on the Fire and Rescue squad, and are familiar with our facility.
