The Coldiron-Watkin Water Filtration Plant (Danville WTP) is located within the city limits of Danville, in central Kentucky.  The facility treats an average of 14 million gallons of water each day through traditional flocculation, sedimentation, filtration and chorination processes.  Chlorine in use (interconnected piping) at the facility varies from approximately 2,000 to 6,000 pounds.  In the same areas as the connected cylinders, up to an additional 12,000 pounds (total 18,000 pounds) may be present.  This RMP submission represents a condensed version of the full OSHA Process Safety Management/EPA Risk Management Plan on file at the facility.
