This facility is the potable water treatment plant for the City of Hamilton and surrounding unincorporated areas. The facility was constructed and went into operation in 1996. The only material stored at the site which triggers the RMP plan requirement is 8,000 pounds of Chlorine gas. The EPA RMP*Comp program was used to determine the worst case and alternative scenarios. The facility emergency response plan is coordinated with the City of Hamilton Fire Department.
