Accidental release prevention and emergency response policy.Our policy is to conform to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. If their were an emergency, our response would be to notify the Floyd Co. LEPC. Description of facility and the regulated substance handled. This facility is an ahydrous ammonia storage and loading facility only. It has one storage tank,multiple delivery tanks, single filling station, and valves and plumbing. Worst-case release scenario. Failure of storage tank would cause large vapor cloud and evacuation of large numbers of persons. General accidental release prevention program and chemical-specific prevention steps.This facility complies with all state, federal, and local laws applicabe to anhydrous ammonia. Five-year accident history. We have never had an accidental release of ammonia at this facility. Emergency response program. Our response to an emergency is to call the Floyd Co. LEPC. |
