The accidental release pervention and emergency response policies at the facility; 
This facility complies with all the requirements for the storage of Anhydrous Ammonia, and it is our policy to  adhere to all applicable fed. state, and local laws. If an emergency were to occur it is our policy to notify the Ward & Renville county fire departments, and request that they respond to the emergency. 
 
Description of facility and regulated substances handled; 
This facility is a Anhydrous Ammonia storage plant witch holds about 26000 gals. It is used to fill nurse tanks, so farmers can transport the Anhydrous Ammonia to there fields were it is uesd as fertitizer. 
 
The worst-case release scenario; 
The worst-case scenario would be if the storage tank failed, this would result in 127200 lbs of Anhydrous Ammonia to be released in to the air. According to EPAs look-up tables, the distance to the end point is 4.4 miles. there are about 200 people in this area, about 99% of these people live in a sma 
ll town 2 miles away,They are not in the direction of the prevailing winds. 
 
The general accidental releases prevention program and chemical-specific prevention steps; 
This facility complies with EPA's accident perventionrule and all applicable state and local codes and regulations. The Anhydrous Ammonia plant is designed, installed and maintaind in accordance with all state laws. 
 
Five-year accident history. 
We have never had an accident involving Anhydrous Ammonia that caused deaths, injuries, property or environmental damage, or evacuations. 
 
The emergency response program; 
In the event of an emergency involving our Anhydrous Ammonia plant, it is our policy to notify the ward & renville county fire departments and request that they respond to the emergency. We have discussed this policy with the fire departments. We have sent maps to the fire departments and the local emergency managers.
