City of Goodyear, AZ 157th Ave. Wastewater Treatment Plant, RMP is based on a complete training, inspection, and maintenance program.                                                                                                                                                                     Staff receives a comprehensive hands on training which includes operation of system and equipment, proper inspection and maintenance, Self Contained Breathing Appratus training, emergency response training and leak repairand  proper  LEPC notification.                                                                                                                                                                  Training is based on a complete hands on system operation and emergency response semi-annually which includes leak repair, we perform a quarterly classroom reminder training on safety procedures.                                                                   Maintenance-The system is  
inspected daily and tested for leaks along with proper operation of the detection system. The system is completely inspected by trained maintenance personnel on a weekly basis as a part of our plant wide preventitive program.                                                                                                                                                                        Emergency Response is based on a two person response program with proper safety precautions including Self Contained Breathing Appratus with a walkie talkie or telephone so that police and fire can be notified if a serious event occurs.                                                                                                                                                                WrittenProgram- A written program detailing each area of the above mentioned items are kept on location along with a quarterly review and update of this written program.
