If an emergency were to occur, it is our policy to notify the Centerville Fire Department and request that they respond to the emergency. This facility is retail Farm Supply business. We sell dry fertilizer,seed,ag. chemicals and anhydrous amonia. We have one thirty thousand gallon anhydrous tank and sixteen one thousand gallon nurse tanks. Our worst-case scenario is failure of our 30,000 gallon storage tank when filled to the greatest amount allowed., resulting in a vapor cloud of anhydrous amonia. This facility complies with EPA's accident prevention rule and all applicable state and local codes and regulations. We have never had an accident involving a nhydrous amonia that caused death,injuries,property or enviornmental damage,evactuations or shelterings in place. In the event of an emergency involving our anhydrous amonia system, it is our policy to notify the Centerville Fire Department and request that they response to the emergency. We have discussed this policy with the fire department: members of the fire department have inspected our anhydrous amonia system. |
