1. Facility Policy: The owner's, management and employee's fo Trotter Fertilizer are comitted to the prevention of any accidental releases of anhydrous ammonia. If an accidental release should occur, the facility is prepared to work with the local fire dept. and other authorities to mitigate any release and mimize the impact of the release to persons and the enviroment. 
2. Facility Information: Trotter Fertilizer is a small independent retail facility for plant food and crop protection chemicals. Anhydrous ammonia is received, stored and distributed for direct apllication as fertilizer for crop production. 
3. The worst-case release scenario and alternative release scenario: 
   a.The worst-case release scenario would be the release of the total contents of the storage tank over a 10 minute period. The distance to the endpoint would be 3 miles. 
   b.The alternative release scenario would be the rupture of a transfer hose. the distance to the end point would be .3 miles. 
4. Accidental  
Release Prevention Program: This facility has implemented the provisions of OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200 Hazard communication. 
5. Five-year Accident History: There have been no reportable accidental releases of anhydous ammonia in the last five years. 
6.  Emergency Responce Program: The "Emergency Action Plan" of Trotter Fertilizer describes procedures to minimize hazrds to human health and the enviroment from sudden releases and non-sudden releases of anhydrous ammonia. Copies of the well organized color codes "plan" have been distributed to th e Local Emergency Planning Committee, Fire department and two stratrgic locations at the facility. Our employee's are aware of the provisions of the emergency action plan and each one's role in carring out the plan.An on going safety training and accident prevention programs are our first line of defence. 
7.  Planned Changes to Improve Safety: Safety improvements are an on-going process at this facility.Perodic evaluations are preformed to as 
sess the maintenance and safe conditions of our equipment. there are no additional specific anhydrous ammonia safety recommendations at this time.
