This report is presented in response to the requirements from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) under 40 CFR Part 68 and 112(r) or the Clean Air Act (CAA).  The Schering-Plough HealthCare Products facility in Memphis, Tennessee is subject to this rule due to the storage of Isobutane above the threshold quantity listed in the regulations. 
 
The person in charge of the RMP program at this location is Mr. Robert Gasper.

This facility is designed to receive, store and distribute finished products of aerosol cansisters. 
 
The worst case scenario for the facility is the ignition of one canister of a stored aerosol can containing iso-butane.  The impact from this scenario is no more than thirty (30) feet.  This impact radius was obtained from data resulting from an actual release of the covered substance at the facility within the last five yea 
rs. 
 
Schering-Plough HealthCare Products is also covered under the OSHA PSM regulations.  Due to the stringent requirements of these regulations, Schering-Plough has ongoning accident preventative programs active and in place.
