The Water Pollution Control Facility located in Auburn Indiana consists of two plants dedicated to the treatment and disposal of Municipal Waste Water.  The two plants are located on the same site, but are completely independent.  Both plants use chlorine gas as a disinfectant on the effluent before release.  Auburn Water Pollution Control Facility personnel are dedicated to making the operation of the plant as effective and safe as practical, and are constantly striving to improve the operation and safety at the plant.
