Boram Crop Service is located in a rural area.   There is a mobile home court with approximately 75 residents within one-half mile of Boram Crop Services facility.  The fire department in whose jursdiction Boram Crop Service is located has up-to-date information on the hazards potential at the site, and maintains an evacuation plan for the surrounding area.                                                                                The employees receive training each year on safe operations and safety.  The fire department visits Boram Crop Service's facility each year, and is kept informed of where potentially hazardous materials are stored.  The fire department also receives copies of Boram Crop Service's Tier II and an updated site plan. The only accident was in 1995 when a farmer broke a hose on a tank wagon.  County emergency responders were on scene and requested  the only area resident within the release area perimeter to evacuate her home.  The woman refused to leave her res 
idence, then later complained that she could smell that ammonia.  No ammonia cloud ever reached the residence.
