We have one (1) 18,000 gallon anhydrous ammonia storage tank for supplying nitrogen to local farmers for crop nutrients. We have Safety and Employee Training Programs for handling farm chemicals and an Emergency Response Plan for dealing with accidental releases of chemicals. The Plan details who to call for help and what procedures to follow for first aid and immediate reponse. We have calculated the Worst and Alternate Case Release Scenarios for releases of anhydrous ammonia and documented our Level 2 Prevention Program.Our storage and nurse tanks are inspected annually by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and our Safety Programs are reviewed and training provided by our parent company, United Suppliers, Inc., Eldora, Iowa.
