City of Monett Water Dept. Cl2 Storage Facility - Executive Summary |

The City of Monett Water Department currently stores up to 20 150# cylinders of Chlorine in the storage building at the old WWTF. These cylinders are then taken as needed to the various water wells for use as a diinfectant. The City is currently in the process of building a new storage facility with up to date monitoring , warning, storage and loading equipment. This new facility will address any safety concerns related to RMP. Water Dept. personnel will continue to handle, deliver and store these cylinders as safely as possible. |
