Hurdsfield Grain Inc. is a locally owned grain company located in Hurdsfield, North Dakota. We deal in agricultural commodities and agricultural inputs including anhydrous ammonia. It is the policy of Hurdsfield Grain Inc. to handle this substance in a safe, evironmentally friendly manner according to all local, state, and federal regulations. Hurdsfield Grain Inc. has never had an accidental release of anhydrous ammonia. Accidents can happen at any ammonia facility and in the unlikely event of an accidental release at Hurdsfield Grain Inc., we have planned for and have coordinated with local emergency responders to adequetely respond to any accidental release we forsee could happen at our facility from a simple hose break to the release of the entire contents of our largest storage tank. Hurdsfield Grain Inc. has extensive safety training, inspection, and maintenance programs in place to insure that our people and equipment are as updated as possible. Any new equipment or operat ing procedure improvements are implemented by our company as soon as they become available. Our equipment currently meets or exceeds all state regulations. Hurdsfield Grain Inc. wants to insure the public that the use of anhydrous ammonia is safe. Our company spends a great deal of time, money, and resources annually to make our process the safest it can be. |
