Nash Grain and Trading Co. is a farmer owned cooperative in north central Walsh county North Dakota. We deal in agrcultural commodities and agricultural inputs including anhydrous ammonia. It is the intent of Nash Grain and Trading Co. to handle these substances with the utmost in employee and environmental safety. Nash Grain and Trading has never had an accidental release of anhydrous ammonia. However, it should be noted that accidental releases can happen at any ammonia facility. Our company is always on the lookout for methods or equipment that can improve the handling safety of these products. All method or equipment changes are implemented as they become available. Nash Grain and Trading Co. has planned for and have coordinated with local emergency responders to adequetely respond to all accidental releases that we percieve may occur at our facility from a simple hose break to the release of the entire contents of our largest storage tank. Nash Grain and Trading Co. wants to assure the public that the handling and storage of anhydrous ammonia is safe. We have extensive employee safety training, maintenance, handling procedure, and inspection programs in place. Our company annually spends a great deal of time, money and resources to insure these products are handled in a safe and environmentally friendly manner |
