BEAVER GRAIN CORPORATION INC. IS AN AGRICULTURAL RETAIL BUSINESS THAT PRIMARILY PROVIDES AREA CROP PRODUCERS WITH INPUTS FOR CROP ENHANCEMENTS. 
 
OUR FACILITY CONSISTS OF ONE -12,000 GALLON TANK THAT IS INSPECTED ANNUALLY BY THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND WE STRICTLY ADHERE TO ALL LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS. 
 
THE WORST CASE SCENARIO WOULD HAVE A TOXIC GAS RELEASE OF 53,000 POUNDS WITH A DISTANCE TO ENDPOINT OF 1.63 MILES WIHICH HAS THE POTENTIAL TO AFFECT APPROXIMATELY 15 AREA CITIZENS. 
 
THE EMPLOYEES WHICH WORK IN THE ANHYDROUS AMMONIA AREA ARE TRAINED IN SAFETY INFORMATION, HAZARDS, OPERATING PROCEDURES AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE MAINTENANCE PRACTIICES OF THE AMMONIA PLANT.  OUR EMPLOYEES ALWAYS USE GOGGLES AND THE APPROPRIATE GLOVES WHEN FILLING NURSE TANKS.  SAFETY IS A PRIORITY WITHIN THIS COMPANY.  THE TRAINING PROGRAM AT BEAVER GRAIN  IS VERY EVIDENT BECAUSE WE CAN REPORT NO INJURY ACCIDENTS OR PROPERTY DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED AT THE STORAGE FACILITY WITH 
IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS. 
 
THE EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN HAS BEEN SHARED WITH THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT AND THEY'VE AGREED TO ASSIST US IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY.
