1.  ACCIDENTAL RELEASE PREVENTION AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE. 
This facility complies with OSHA 1910.38 and EPCRA requirements for Nh3 storage and it is our policy to 
adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. If an emergency were to occur, it is our policy to 
notify the Meservey Fire Dept. and request that they respond to the emergency. 
 
2. DESCRIPTION OF OUR FACILITY AND REGULATED SUBSTANCE. 
This facility is a Coop, handeling grain and commercial fertilizers. We sell Nh3 to our patrons as a service. 
The Nh3 tank is a 18,000 gallon tank and it's associated piping, pumps, and valves. 
 
3. WORST CASE SCENARIO 
Our worst case scenario is a failure of our 18,000 gallon storage t 
ank when filled to the greatest amount allowed (85%) , resulting in a toxic gas release. According to EPA's RMP COMP. the distance to the endpoint is 3.6 miles. There are residences, Public area's, and offices within the distance endpoint,  
with a total population of 473 people. 
 
4. EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROGRAM. 
In the event of an emergency involving our Nh3 system, it is our policy to notify the Meservey Fire Dept. 
and request that they respond. We have discussed this policy with the Fire Department. Members of the 
Fire Dept. have walked though our facility. 
 
5. FIVE YEAR ACCIDENT HISTORY. 
We have never had an accident involving Nh3 that caused death, injuries, property or environmental 
damage, evacuations. 
 
6. PLANNED CHANGES TO IMPROVE SAFETY. 
Safety improvement is an on going process at our facility. Periodic evaluations are performed to assess the maintinance of safe conditions. No changes planned
