The City of Muskogee, Oklahoma operates a wastewater treatment plant located within the city limits in the southeast part of town. This plant stores chlorine in one ton cylinders at the plant. The maximum in inventory is 12 tons and the plant limits the maximun number of cylinders in use at anyone time to six. the maximum population within the area of the potential affect under a worst case release scenario is less than one thousand. There are no federa natural habitat facilities or preserves located within the maximum toxic endpoint radius. In the event of a significant release, the emergency will be handled through the Muskogee Fire Department
