This facility is an agricultural business, which sells propane to local customers for home heating. Our propane plant has 2 - 8,000 gallon tanks. Worse case scenario of the propane facility would be the release of 59000 pounds with a distance of endpoint .3 miles affecting 1200 people. This facility complies with all local and state codes and regulations. The system is designed and maintained in accordance with the Kansas Department of Agriculture and State Fire Marshall. This company has never experienced an accident involving propane in the past five years. Our emergency response plan has been shared with the Linn County Fire Department and in the event of an emergency we have requested that they be our first responder. The Linn County Fire Department inspects our facility on an annual basis.
