OUR EMPLOYEES ARE TRAINED ANNUALLY IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: SAFETY INFORMATION, HAZARDS, OPERATING PROCEDURES AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE MAINTENANCE PRACTICES OF AN AMMONIA PLANT. THE EMPLOYEES WHO WORK IN THE FACILITY ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES AND THE APPROPRIATE GLOVES WHEN FILLING NURSE TANKS. THE WORST CASE SCENARIO WOULD HAVE A TOXIC RELEASE OF 131,000 POUNDS WITH A DISTANCE TO ENDPOINT OF 2.5 MILES AFFECTING APPROXIMATELY 75 AREA PEOPLE. ADDITIONALLY, THIS COMPANY IS PROUD OF OUR SAFETY RECORD AND ARE WILLING TO REPORT NO INJURY ACCIDENTS IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS. THE PROPANE FACILITY IS COMPRISED OF 2-12,000 GALLON TANKS WITH A TOTAL CAPACITY OF 89,000 POUNDS. EMPLOYEES ARE TRAINED AND CERTIFIED TO WORK IN THE PROPANE AREA. THEY ALSO, GO TO ANNUAL RETRAINING EACH YEAR THAT IS SPONSORED BY THE STATE PROPANE MARKETERS ASSOCIATIONS. THE WORST CASE SCENARIO WOULD HAVE AN EXPLOSION OR FIRE WITH A DISTANCE TO ENDPOINT OF .3 MILES AND WOULD AFFECT APPROXIMATELY 25 PEOPLE. AGAIN WE ARE HAPPY TO REPORT ABSOLUTELY NO INJURY ACCIDENTS WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS.
