The accidental release prevention and emergency response policies at your facility:  This facilitycomplies with NFPA-58 and all requirements for LP-Gas storage, and it is our policy to adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.  If an emergency were to occur, it is our policy to contact the Templeton volunteer fire department and request that they respond to the emergency. 
 
A description of your facility and the regulated substance handled:  This facility is a swine production farm.  We use propane on this farm for heating the buildings during the winter months. The heating system consists of 1-31669 gallon propane tank with associated piping, valves, and heating units. 
 
The worst case release scenario:  Our worst-case scenario is the failure of the 31,669 gallon propane tank, resulting in a vapor cloud explosion.  Since this facility is located in a rural area with one non-owned residence within .4 miles of the facility.  The owners also live in two other residences with 
in .4 miles of the facility.  These would be the only residences within .4 miles of the facility. 
 
The general accidental release prevention program and chemical- specific prevention steps:  This facility complies with EPA's accident prevention rule and all applicable state and local codes and regulations. The propane system is designed, installed, and maintained in accordance with NFPA-58 and state law. 
 
Five year accident history:  This facility was built in 1993 and has never had an accident involving propane that caused death, injuries, property or environmental damage, evacuations, or shelterings in place. 
 
The emergency response program.  In the event of an emergency involving our propane system, it is our policy to notify the Templeton fire department and request that they respond to the emergency.  We have discussed this policy with the fire department.  Members of the fire department have inspected our propane system.
